A new way to take viewers to your website: Add a QR code to your flyer
You can now add QR codes to any design you create on PosterMyWall. Cool right?
QR codes are a nifty way to bridge the gap between offline and online mediums, allowing you to use print products to direct consumers from your flyer to a landing page, online menu, information resource or shopping page of your choosing.
As the world becomes more interconnected by the hour, and societies recover from the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, QR codes are relevant now than ever before. Here are but a few examples, taken from a bucket list of endless uses of QR codes:
Selling a new product? Share product information in your flyer and customers looking to buy your product can use the QR code to go to the productโs buy page.
Share location details. Adding an address is not enough for customers that are reliant on a mapping tool. Use a QR code to take the customer to your Google Maps location.
Download mobile apps. Customers viewing a flyer for your mobile app donโt need to browse their mobile app store in search for your app. They can just scan your QR code to get your app in no time.
Show your online menu. To curb the spread of COVID-19, many restaurants have gone the contactless approach. So instead of providing a physical menu, which has been handled by hundreds, add a QR code (you can even use a QR code generator with logo of your brand) in your table talker to take the customer to your online menu.
How do I add a QR code?
Adding a QR code is simple. Open a design saved in your My Stuff or create one from scratch. In the editor page, click Elements on the left menu, then select Add QR Code.
Once added, select and drag your QR code to move it around the design. On the right contextual menu, use the text box under QR Content to add your link.
Viewers that use their phones to scan your QR code will be taken to your link. Make any finishing touches, save your design and download. And youโre done!
